Commercial Loan Correspondent Program

On a very limited basis we are offering National Correspondent Relationships. We are looking for companies that have experience producing commercial loans.

Program Details:

How would you like to be able to earn up to 1.5% yield spread premium on some of the best commercial loan products available in the marketplace. As a correspondent, you can offer our products to the general public and other mortgage brokers.

If you have ever wanted to set your own margins and have your own products this is the opportunity you have been looking for. We produce the rate sheets and documents for you in your name. The process is seamless to your customer and they do not know that you are not actually funding the loan until the loan closing.

Take a look to the wholesale rate sheets posted to the left. These rates already have YSP built in for our correspondents. You have the ability to price in additional YSP up to 1.5% by increasing the base rate. You also have the ability to offer multiple prepayment options that pay you premium.

Getting Started:

If you are interested in the program, you will need to follow these steps:

  • Complete the online Broker Application. (Make sure you check the box to become a correspondent and we will email you the application.) 
  • Download and sign the Good Business Affidavit.
  • Provide a resume on the principal(s).
  • Provide a credit report on principal(s), with credit explanations if necessary.
  • Provide us with your business license.

Send a check made payable to Griffin Capital Funding for $400.00 to cover the processing fee. If your application is denied, your check will be returned.

Conference calls/webinars will be held every week and will last about 1 hour. They will consist of education and training on our products as well as general commercial underwriting information. Immediately followed by a question and answer session where you will be able to ask and listen to questions from other correspondents.
